NEW JOB- Currently looking for a Senior Brand Sales Executive- Sport for a significant, fast-growing, dynamic multi-platform consumer media business based in Bristol. This is a key senior sales role within our clients sporting portfolio. Selling directly to core and non-core clients to maximise profits and achieve the budgeted revenues, throughout the entire sports portfolio. This role provides an opportunity to sell across a variety of revenue streams (display, creative solutions and digital) and will involve selling to both new and existing clients.

* Responsible for hitting and exceeding monthly/quarterly/annual multi-media revenue targets
* Accurate weekly and ad-hoc forecasting and pipeline reporting/management to Group Ad Manager
* Sales and account management of own client base to include:
* Responsible for YOY growth of allocated core client base
* Attending client meetings and presenting to then and their agencies (where applicable) and feeding back on outcomes and industry insight from market.
* Being the first point of contact with clients, this includes ( where necessary) but not limited to; chasing copy, accounts issues and general Ad queries

New business responsibilities to include:
* Ongoing competitor analysis of key industry titles and similar audience based platforms, to analyse competition activity and follow best practice to follow up, generate new business and increase market share
* Develop strong understanding of competitor brands and the market as a whole.
* Identification of new business opportunities
* Attend trade and consumer shows where appropriate and feedback intelligence to wider team
* Identifying and contacting new revenue areas within the non-core market place.
* Brand responsibility

You will also have a responsibility to:
* Work with insights to develop brand decks which should outline the USP of the brand/product, demographics, regular sales products/features and reach (including social).
* Overseeing the development of, budgeting and distribution of the relevant sales materials for upcoming supplements and editorial features.
*  Collaborate with publishing to develop commercial opportunities within your brand and provide a commercial perspective on the market to create sales products that will be meaningful to both consumers and advertisers.

You will be a confident and articulate sales person, equally comfortable with phone sales and face to face meetings, drive for results and be counted on to exceed goals and targets successfully; consistently pushing yourself to achieve goals and plans. You will be proactive and self-motivated who is intelligent and can comfortably deal with concepts and complexity with a sharp, capable and agile mind.

Print or digital sales experience is desired but not essential but you must have excellent sales, negotiation and presentation skills as well as keen attention to detail. With strong new business skills and a tenacious approach
the right candidate will be strong team player with a proven track record in achieving and exceeding sales revenues.
