A new role for a Business Development Manager with business intelligence subscription sales experience.

Our client is a leading business intelligence company formed in 1998 and has grown to become a leading information provider within its core markets. They provide high-value, specialist
business information to the insurance, hedge funds and online gaming industries. They deliver key information to defined target audiences through news, content, events and data products. With their London Headquarters in modern offices by the Barbican, their international presence includes offices in New York, Hong Kong,Singapore & Cardiff.

They are looking for a Business Development Manager to join the team providing business intelligence for all within the investment sector. Providing reputable research to the investment management community since 1974, the product has solidified itself as the trusted source of independent financial research. The articles they publish display some of the most prominent thought-leadership in the sector, including those that have immeasurably changed the shape of the industry, such as the Sharpe Ratio and Black-Scholes Model.

The Job
 Working from a Database of Warm and cold leads -outbound calling to B2B clients globally
 Building rapport over the telephone with customers and organising a sale of subscription products
 Delivering demonstrations of the research Products
 Managing Admin to ensure follow up calls and complete sales process
 Ability to work independently and as part of a team
 Work towards a range of pre discussed targets with your line manager including calls, sales and conversions

The Requirements
 Confident Telephone manner
 Business Intelligence experience is essential
 Passion and Enthusiasm
 Experience of working in a target driven environment
 Good Organisational Skills
 Basic Computer skills
 Ability to close a sale
