Our Hammersmith based client is offering a great opportunity for a Data/Insight Analyst to join their team to help deliver impactful and relevant insight.  Reporting to the Content and Marketing Director the role will play a vital part in contributing to our clients event marketing strategies in respect to analysis and insight generation, reporting as well as helping to shape and deliver the central marketing team’s intelligence vision. The role will be at the forefront of BI evangelism, upskilling the business in their use of data and how it can help make better informed decisions. 
 
You should be highly skilled in manipulating and analysing large data sets from a variety of sources. Proactively pulling out the ‘So what’ and presenting insight and recommendations in a confident, concise and easy to digest manor.
 
 
Responsibilities:
 

  • Deliver meaningful insight and actionable recommendations, presented with confidence and succinctness
  • Develop Reports and Dashboards using visualisation tools such Power BI to bring meaningful insight to stakeholders
  • Using SQL and the Azure DWH, cleanse, wrangle and join data from a variety of sources including transactional, demographic and qualitative data sets
  • Select and deploy appropriate analytical and statistical techniques to help with a range of tasks including but not restricted to:
    • Segmentation
    • Trend analysis
    • Customer profiling
    • Cohort Analysis
    • Lifetime Value
    • Campaign Analysis
  • Contribute to the reporting and analytical requirements of Marketing team with specific focus on CRM
  • Communicate with key business stake holders and encourage the company to do more with its information and foster deep information literacy throughout the business
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices and new technologies
 
 
Qualifications:
 
  • Excellent presentation, oral and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex analysis results and processes to non-technical audiences in a clear and positive manner
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at once, showing task prioritisation and ownership
  • Attention to detail and ability to work with and combine multiple data sources to answer key business questions
  • Knowledge of database structures and relational databases
  • Experience working with complex datasets from a variety of source
  • Strong skills in data cleansing, reformatting and wrangling
  • Strong SQL skills
  • Strong visualisation skills – Power BI, Tableau etc.
  • Experience of managing stakeholders at various levels
