A great opportunity for an experienced Data Insight Analyst to join a newly formed team within a significant media owner based in West London. The Information Management department has been brought together to support our client in all of its information needs.
The team is responsible for managing and orchestrating the data assets of the company as well as allowing the teams to gain insight and take action from the information it contains. You will get the opportunity to lead and contribute directly to the output of the group as the role will be hands on and delivery focused, but will also include time for additional skills development.

Accountabilities
* Delivery in collaboration with the main functions of the Information Management team (data processing, email marketing and data science). 
* Lead on the development of Business Intelligence projects that make a real difference to the operation of the company’s many business models.
* Develop a deep understanding of the company’s data, and use this to improve the shared understanding of what is driving performance across the business.
* Define the standards for excellent data visualisation and help others in the business develop skills to ensure quality reporting is delivered throughout the organisation
* Use data, reporting and visualisation to bring meaningful insights to the company
* Develop skills in other team members, acting as a mentor, coach and/or Line Manager as appropriate.
* Communicate with key business stake holders and encourage the company to do more with its information and foster deep information literacy throughout the business.

* Strong SQL skills
* Understanding that all data is imperfect but still have value
* Skilled in techniques for cleansing and reformatting data into useable forms
* Extract, manage and combine data from a variety of sources efficiently
* Deep attention to detail
* Specific Desirable Skills

Ideally the candidate will have experience of the following:
* Visualisation Tool (ideally Power BI)
* SQL (prefer experience with Microsoft T-SQL but not essential)
* Familiarity with Cloud architectures
* Media, Advertising and/or Retail experience
