NEW JOB- We are recruiting for a Licensing Agent for a brand new division within a boutique, high-end online image archive focusing on unpublished lifestyle, celebrity and beauty contemporary photography.
You will be responsible for setting up the business procedures, promotional strategy and activating the sales of the new picture archive business.
The archive is a new adventure, therefore the role might include tasks related to photographer representation
together with the archive management, which will in any case remain the main focus for the position.
Our client is a production company based in West London, servicing a wide range of world class clients in advertising, editorial, fashion and design.

* Ensure all efforts employed contribute to increasing the company’s sales performance and achieving the company goals.
• Manage and carry out all sales and new business related activities of the company, in line with the agreed business plan.
• Assist in the archive set up and launch, help standardise the process for promotion and sale.
• Build a client base for the new service.
• Handle sales requests from start to finish, including selection of images, price calculation, negotiations, and contract conclusion
• Maximization of sales through the building of relationships, identification of needs, consulting as well as offering appropriate products and services
• Establishment and expansion of active customer network, including client analysis, development, and retention
• Acquisition of new customers and development of long term relationships
• Occasional business travel necessary in the future.

• 2 years minimum previous experience in a picture archive business.
• Market-specific skills in the areas of editorial, advertising, and new media are considered a plus.
• A proven track record of successfully delivering sales targets.
• Existing relationships in the Advertising and Photography/Production community.

• Independent, organized, fast learner with a proactive work style.
• High level of customer service orientation with excellent communication skills.
• An open-minded attitude towards all that’s new.
• Multi-lingual – ideally fluent in English, French and Spanish.
• Able to independently and competently carry out effective cold calls.
• Able to independently and competently research new leads.
• Able to prepare and deliver own presentations.
• Natural sales person with strong charisma and persuasive skills.
• Able to work on own initiative.
• Team player and willingness to play an active role within the team.
• Must be comfortable in an independent agency environment and dynamics, motivated by the industry and the prospect of growing the company.
• Professional in approach and image.
• Computer literate: good knowledge of MS Office, Word Processing, Excel Spreadsheets, Internet Software, Database Software, ideally knowledge of Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator and/or InDesign).
