As a Project Manager for their creative studio, you will be responsible for managing integrated advertising campaigns and commercial content solutions across multiple platforms, disciplines from conception to completion, whilst keeping both clients and the creatives blissfully happy.
Working with the relevant editorial and commercial production teams across a wide variety of brands, the Project Manager will ensure that all campaigns are delivered within contracted time frames and agreed budgets, whilst ensuring that we uphold the stunning creative reputation. The role requires demonstrable client management, prioritising workloads, creating schedules, managing budgets, reviewing assets, securing resource and escalating potential delivery risks in a timely manner.

Project Management:

  • Take ownership of projects for large cross-brand, cross-platform campaigns with the ability to understand media schedules, pitch documents and project management collateral.
  • Easily adapt project management style to reflect the needs of different clients across different touchpoints (digital, print, social).
  • Take ownership of video and photoshoots from ideation to delivery, working closely with the Art and Video Directors to ensure we surpass client expectations.
  • Collaborate with internal resource and external suppliers to create accurate and achievable project timelines and identify areas of potential delivery risk.
  • Able to manage a campaign P&L, ensuring campaigns are delivered to budget and time.
  • Facilitate amendment / approval process between clients and suppliers.
  • Attend and champion client and agency meetings and able to lead status updates.
  • Regularly report on delivery and key metric for campaigns, working closely with the various different teams to collate and analyse required data.
Relationship Building:
  • Form and continuously develop strong relationships with the editorial, sales and production teams.
  • Brand knowledge:
  • Fully understand the house style of key brands.
  • Show a real understanding and passion for our brands, along with the products we offer clients across our brands’ print, digital and social platforms.
  • Contribute to internal brainstorming sessions for collaborative concept generation and proposal making.
Customer Focus:
  • Show a clear understanding of project deliverables with minimal guidance.
  • Strong stakeholder management, both internal and external.
  • Clear and constant communication, escalating any potential issues to the Head of PM in a clear and concise way so issues can be tackled quickly.
Creativity and Problem Solving:
  • The ability to anticipate issues before they arise based on knowledge of brands / client needs.
  • Flag issues in a timely fashion escalating to the Head of PM where applicable and finding workable solutions where needed.
  • Show a confident and proactive attitude to problem solving.
  • Take the lead role in pitching and brainstorms.
  • Significant experience of project management, preferably in a publishing environment.
  • A proven track record of delivering large-scale, challenging multi-disciplinary (print, digital, social, events) content campaigns to time and budget, with the ability to apply learnings from past challenges.
  • Have wider knowledge of the content marketplace, with an understanding of developments and the work of rival companies and how this can be applied to Immediate’s work.
  • Strong time management skills. The Senior PM needs to be very confident and comfortable with the demands of this busy role from day one.
  • Experience of mentoring or line-managing a sub-team and able to demonstrate ability as a hands-on leader, solving problems with confidence.
  • An excellent command of project management processes and methodologies across creative and commercial. We want someone with an intuitive understanding of how our work gets done.
  • A strong understanding of the cross-platform sales process and commercial projects in general.
  • Able to clearly communicate the goals of the client and the ideas behind our awesome work.
  • Excellent relationship-building and communication skills internally and externally with clients and suppliers.
  • Ability to learn on the job to develop a working knowledge of Imagine’s technologies and processes – identifying knowledge gaps and working with the team to continually improve.
  • Be a core team player with a real sense of ownership, urgency and drive and taking the lead in managing relationships with clients, colleagues and partners to influence ways of working.
  • Able to analyse media schedules / schematics with ease.
  • Deputising for the Head of PM where required.
