We are looking for a Writer. The right candidate must have tech experience but more content and strategic than creative. Long form examples are a necessity
Being a Writer for our client is a weird gig. You’re not just consistently writing outstanding copy for some of the best B2B content in the industry. You’ll also own the creative and strategic vision for the marketing plans of some of the coolest tech companies on the planet.
Our client is a B2B Marketing Agency, based in South West London, working on B2B positioning, B2B content marketing and B2B digital marketing for technology companies.

High-level objectives:
• Build your strategy chops – this isn’t just a writing job – it’s solving real marketing problems for complex businesses
• Lead your accounts from the front – working with AMs to become a valued advisor for clients (while finding new growth opportunities)
• Plan, manage and execute consistently exciting work
• Push existing content formats further and help to refine and develop entirely new content types
• Help the rest of the team grow and improve with regular reviews and mentoring of junior and midweight writers
• Collaborate closely with design, development and content performance teams to turn great ideas into fully-realised, hard-working pieces to be proud of
• Forge a strong partnership with the AM, PM, and resourcing teams to drive more visibility and efficiency to the flow of work through the agency

On-the-ground responsibilities:
As a Writer for our client, you’ll take an unstructured mass of input and turn it into clear, compelling stories and effective content. That means you’ll do things like this:
• Elicit briefs from clients, account people and planners
• Research the clients, products and markets through interviews, over the phone and in-person
• Conduct desk research and synthesize into recommendations
• Suggest content topics, issues and stories
• Present ideas to clients and collect feedback
• Create outlines for specific pieces
• Write copy
• Manage all revisions with clients and account people
• Work with designers, video producers and developers to see the idea through to completion
• Support company marketing with blog posts, content experiments, longer pieces, social media participation, etc
