Our client is looking for a Campaign Marketing Manager to be responsible for planning and implementing effective, targeted campaigns to support our clients membership sales team. Ideally you have experience working closely within a sales organization but also have in-depth knowledge of running campaigns with a flair for creativity and attention to detail. This role is instrumental in generating demand, nurturing them and building a strong pipeline.
Our client is a leading provider of business intelligence, data and insights on the global asset management industry. They provide high-value, specialist business information to niche target audiences in the alternative and traditional fund management industries and employ over 350 staff globally with our head office based in London.

The Role

We are looking for a Campaign Marketing Manager to execute multi-channel marketing activities, implementing campaigns that drive lead generation and customer acquisition across a range of channels including website, email, paid and owned social media and owned events including webinars and podcasts. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a growth environment, and a proven ability/or aptitude to execute campaigns to support growth objectives. You will drive campaign development, overseeing tactical day-to-day campaign deliverables, to execute their end-to-end delivery (plan, test, execute, measure and refine) within defined brand guidelines.
You should have excellent analytical skills to gain valuable insights on campaign performance, to optimize lead generation while keeping acquisition costs within agreed budgets.
You will also be highly numerical, focused on delivering on KPI’s and ensuring that all marketing activities are tested, measured and reported on in order to meet demand generation objectives.
You are a self-starter, taking full ownership of campaign output and quality and can work in a relatively independent manner without significant supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the campaigns team and key stakeholders to develop and execute highly effective, end-to-end email marketing campaigns which are aligned to the buyers’ journey and optimized to meet regional needs and pipeline targets.
  • Using an integrated, collaborative approach, work cross functionally with internal stakeholders to plan, develop, execute, and evaluate campaigns to ensure clear execution of deliverables
  • Develop and continuously build nurtures to move prospects along the marketing funnel
  • Communicate and educate the sales team on new and planned marketing activities including global, regional, and local programs
  • Continuously track, measure, evaluate and report on campaigns and adapt as necessary
  • Implement integrated, multi-channel marketing campaigns with the aim of acquiring and retaining customers
  • Take ownership for campaign content as per the strategy, working across both paid and owned channels as appropriate
  • Manage the implementation, tracking and measurement of these campaigns
  • Brief and oversee the work of internal and external resources, such as designers and content creators, who will deliver your content assets
  • Work within an agreed campaign budget
  • Work with in-house and freelance content writers to ensure appropriate quality content is written to support campaign objectives
  • Write, edit and proofread copy for promotional materials within marketing campaigns, such as emails and landing pages
  • Ensure that the With Intelligence’s brand and identity is adhered to in campaigns and in all communication channels
  • Maintain regular measurement of the ROI of campaigns, optimising for channel amplification and with a focus on demand generation and conversion
  • Ensure accuracy of marketing materials and follow formal sign off if necessary
  • Take responsibility for the organisation of any owned or sponsored events (including webinars and events), integrating these into wider campaign strategy
  • Manage planning and execution of marketing initiatives for sales channels

The primary business KPIs for this role are around demand generation and customer acquisition through campaign execution across integrated marketing channels:

Required Skills:

  • Experience with proven success developing and executing integrated, multi-touch marketing plans and programs across the marketing mix
  • Ability to develop strong relationships with the sales team
  • Previous experience with budget development and tracking, and demand/financial forecasting
  • You are a self-starter and thrive in a dynamic, high growth business environment
  • Strong working knowledge/aptitude to learn Google Analytics, and marketing automation tools (ideally Pardot) landing pages to support demand generation activities (i.e., setting up new landing pages)
  • Experience//aptitude to learn in building, sending, and reporting on email marketing campaigns including newsletters and drip email campaigns
  • Ability to contribute to marketing plans and initiatives with insights into ways to optimise revenue, customer acquisition, conversion, and retention
  • Strong analytical skills, with a good grasp of Excel/data packages and understanding of web analytics
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Organised with a strong attention to detail, delivering a high quality of output
  • Team player – ability to collaborate across other teams and with external agencies and freelancers
  • Extremely well organised, able to work to challenging targets within tight timeframes
  • Experience with developing and executing marketing programs in high-growth environments
  • You have worked closely with sales teams in the past and have a good understanding of the sales cycle
  • Ability to develop and implement marketing campaigns
  • Ideally have experience working with systems such as Salesforce, Pardot, yesware, ZoomInfo and LinkedIn Sales Navigator
