About the role
We are looking for an experienced Events Marketing Manager. This person will plan, develop, and execute multichannel marketing campaigns to drive engagement and attendance at both client and new business events. This role requires an individual with a strong background in conference marketing, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to work professionally with internal team members and clients.
Responsibilities
- Working with internal teams and freelancers to design and deliver marketing campaigns and report on progress
- Ensuring that work is produced on time and to the highest standards
- Being proactive, coming up with new ideas and creative solutions
- Delivering work in line with company processes, policies and procedures
- To look for opportunities that help clients achieve marketing and communication aims and to grow, develop and deepen client relationships.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement marketing strategies for conferences and awards
- Plan and execute marketing campaigns, including email marketing, organic and paid social, and media partnerships
- Create and manage the marketing calendar, ensuring the timely execution of campaigns
- Lead on ideas for marketing campaigns
- Coordinate internal teams to produce promotional materials and collateral from ideation to design and delivery
- Write tailored copy for each channel
- Develop and manage marketing budgets
- Work with events lead on pricing/discounts to support marketing activity
- Track and analyse the effectiveness of marketing campaigns using various metrics and KPIs
- Provide post-event reports, summarising performance and recommending improvement for future events
- Identify target audiences and target accordingly
- Lead on strategy for media partners – identify relevant partners and agree on collaboration
Key attributes:
- Solid experience in B2B conference and awards marketing
- Experience in most aspects of digital marketing
- Adept at interpreting data
- Excellent stakeholder management
- The ability to manage a budget
- Excellent communications skills (written and verbal)
- Self-motivated with good attention to detail
- Highly organised and enthusiastic
