We are looking for a Fullstack Developer to join our fabulous client. Our client is a global leader in the innovation, curation and deployment of Augmented Reality experiences for commerce. They are constantly innovating and pioneering new ways to enable brands and retailers to harness the power of AR.

They have a vision to change the way the world shops with Augmented Reality.

Their mission is to democratise AR for Brands & Retailers, with a suite of SaaS Platform AR services for online & in-store. The Role This is an outstanding opportunity for a person wanting to bring their skills to an organisation at the leading edge of AR technology. They are looking for a thorough, meticulous, skilled, creative Fullstack Developer with a keen eye for detail.

Technical skills

Must have (3-5 years of experience):

• Very strong knowledge on ES6, HTML5, NodeJS, and JavaScript frontend frameworks (React or Vue or Angular).
• Experience in working with and deploying to the AWS Cloud (S3, RDS, Lambda, etc.).
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git, GitLab, Bitbucket and experience working in a CI/CD environment.
• Knowledge of database technologies, Relational and non-Relational DBs.

Nice to have:

• Ideally experience with webAR platforms including, quicklook, scene viewer.
• Knowledge of framework agnostic Web Components (CustomElements API).
• A good understanding of designing responsive & adaptive web pages and sites for all devices.
• Creative thinking and attention to detail/crafting.

Responsibilities:

• Convert technical ideas and requirements into creative solutions with the end-user in mind.
• Maintain all of their products/services and enhance this using a modern front/back-end stack.
• Design and implementation of low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications.
• Ensure quality whilst meeting tight project deadlines.
• Investigating causes of defects that occur during the testing and QA phase and managing these effectively with a plan to ensure these are avoided in the future.
• Raise, track and take ownership and accountability of issues and getting them resolved.

• At least 3 to 5 years of experience of working as a JavaScript Focused Fullstack Developer.
• Ideally a degree level education, but they would welcome applications from candidates who fit the desired capabilities.
• Ability to stay motivated, work hard and remain calm under pressure
• Firm knowledge of web standards, browser and device compatibility
