We are looking to recruit a Learning Content Communications Writer.  Our client is a Creative Communications and Training Consultancy.
Their team works remotely with purpose led meetings held in London as and when required. They are a small team, and they are looking for an individual who has good knowledge in the creation of copy to support the development of training and communication materials.

Your role will be to support their clients in creating engaging and informative training and communications copy that is then developed into training and communications deliverables from documents through to web-based training, videos, animations, and virtual training. As you’ll be developing copy, you need to be comfortable writing, and a master at summarizing complex product information into simple and easy to digest copy. You’ll be in regular contact with clients to scope copy, source information and review copy and deliverables, so you need to be a top communicator.
You will oversee the deliverables you work on through to sign off to ensure our clients are happy with the output, so you’ll need to be a team player who works well alongside our specialist creatives, instructional designers, and developers.
Experience or knowledge of the automotive industry and training development would be beneficial but not essential.
You’ll hit the ground running so will need to have a passion for what you do, and be focussed on exceeding client expectations.

  • Proficient in writing and able to keep content detailed and to the point.
  • A good investigator, able to listen or read to quickly understand information before aggregating the relevant details to answer objectives.
  • An excellent communicator, professional at all times and able to forge strong internal and client relationships.
  • A multi-tasker with an excellent eye for detail that can work on several projects whilst upholding the highest standards for factual accuracy on each.
  • Knowledgeable and passionate about creating engaging and accurate content from source materials and information provided to you.
  • A team player and a problem solver.
  • From a consultancy background.

Some key duties:

  • Build an understanding of client needs.
  • Source relevant information/data and use your existing knowledge to create copy.
  • Unravel technical information into clear and concise copy.
  • Uphold the highest standards for factual accuracy.
  • Work to deadlines - manage your own time and ensure you keep the wider project team updated.
  • Schedule and attend client reviews of copy and in latter stages deliverables.
  • Provide clear updates to project team of client wants/needs to support latter stages of projects running smoothly.
  • Input to the creation of deliverables at various stages.
  • Contribute towards editing, fact-checking, proof-reading of content.
  • Create and lead presentations to client as required.
  • Communicate clearly, communicate professionally, communicate accurately, with your team, with suppliers, with the client.
