Our client is the world's leading emerging technology provider for commerce and they partner with Brands and Retailers to produce engaging shopper experiences deployed across physical, and digital, activation points on the customer shopping journey. They are currently recruiting a Traffic Manager to join their expanding team.

The Role
We are looking for an outstanding individual to join the team as a Traffic Manager, managing the workflow of our clients busy teams and internal/external task requests. 

The Traffic Manager will be a crucial hire and take full ownership of trafficking all work, managing workflows and ticket requests, planning resources, and organising any freelance support when needed. The role will require exceptional organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage conflicting priorities with ease. You will be experienced in scheduling time and able to manage and resource a high volume of tickets, projects and ad-hoc requests. The role will interface with various touchpoints in the business across the full product and project suite.

Organising, prioritising, scheduling and communicating clearly with the teams is a fundamental part of success in the role. You will own the full end-to-end ticket management process, continually reviewing and optimising the workflow. The role will also require responding to retailers and brands with clear updates, so good communication skills are essential. You will be managing inbound requests and reviewing, prioritising, and scheduling work with the creative, tech and project management teams.

Responsibilities

  • Reviewing, categorising and prioritising inbound tickets into the relevant queues, owners and teams
  • Day-to-day management of resourcing schedules, reactive to last-minute changes, as well as proactively planning out future requirements
  • Acting as a central point of contact, responding to and resolving scheduling queries and issues to help the internal teams run efficiently
  • Identifying when freelancers and external suppliers are required to assist full-time employees with project delivery. You will confirm bookings, manage contracts, raise POs and manage their time accordingly.
  • Leading scheduling meetings and compiling capacity reports for management
  • Prioritising integration tickets, scheduling upcoming work and agreeing on deadlines with the delivery teams
  • Communicating clear resolutions and updates to the requesters as per internal SLAs
  • Escalating issues and red flags to the relevant managers when required
  • Continually reviewing and improving the scheduling process and how tickets are manage through the system, striving for world-class delivery
  • Policing the process for how tickets are raised internally, ensuring everyone follows the process correctly
  • Actively engaging and supporting in delivery, to ensure tasks and business objectives are completed on time
  • Ensuring all resources are meeting individual and team utilisation targets

Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience as a Resource Planning & Scheduling / Traffic Manager or similar role with at least 3 years experience is essential, ideally in media, creative or tech industries and/or agency environments
  • Highly organised individual, who relishes the challenge of managing a busy team
  • Excellent ability to prioritise project work and requests from Sales, Project Managers and other stakehoders, with clear communication and rationale
  • Excellent knowledge of digital and design processes Experience using agency project management and scheduling software such as Salesforce, Asana, Trello or Zendesk
  • Diligent worker with strong attention to detail, excellence in prioritising and delivering to schedule

The head office is located in Liverpool Street, London, and is open to all employees. The candidate should be based within a commutable distance as you will be required to attend the office at least 2 days per week.
